front spoiler instalation

Can someone tell me where the nut clips go when installing the front spoiler on 72 rs ? my lower valance has all the holes so does my Golden star spoiler.

Do the clips go on the spoiler and bolt through the valance?

or do the clips go on the valance and bolt up through the spoiler?

When any type of clips are used from the factory, the clips go on the metal body.

Thanks COPO for the reply . I did order that exact hardware kit from Camaro central.

I hadn't seen an original spoiler mounted in person so was just wondering about placement.

Thanks again COPO for the advice you gave. New spoiler is installed and it looks GREAT !!!! Little bit of a struggle lining everything up laying on my back car on the floor. But VICTORY is mine.
