Hi all. I'm new here and trying to figure this site out so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place.
I'm looking for a good clear coat gun and have no idea what to buy. I'm just a hobbyist but don't mind spending 7 or 8 hundred dollars on a good gun if it sprays good, easy-to-use and clean. I want one thats going to last a long time.I paint some cars but mostly spay graphics on race boats. I have a binks M1 G along with some old school Devilbiss cup guns now . I just want one that spray clear coat without all the orange peal and overspay. Any help would be appreciated.

There are many guns out there, but Eastwood serves up some nice stuff for the hobbyist, gunwise.
Yes they have a lot of guns. I tried to use thier chat service this morning and they wanted my email before they would even chat. I told them where I was from what I was looking for and the price rang I wanted to stay with in.also said I would give them my email when I made a purchase. All they said was before we get started they need a valid email. I replied that they most not be interested in making a sale.
Don't want and don't need anymore Junk mail.

I understand all that.
Dont know why some of those sites barrage you with shiite and stop you from searching their site.
Here's some on amazon, and also you can search on TCPGlobal.(you want 1.3,1.4,and 1.5 tips for color and clear.Primers get to 1.6,and 1.7,some 1.8,buying a kit that already supplys these is a great savings)Also joining a bodywork or spray group on facebook helps with current good equipment and where to buy it.Keep in mind,Summitracing sells everything and does free shipping over 100.00.
Good luck.

Buy the best gun you can afford, which in our case is this one from Harbor Freight.
It will allow you to produce excellent results without breaking the bank. The spray gun is only a small part of the recipe, because technique is equally important, but you know that already.
Lots of good videos on YouTube…
