Sadly,

that is the #1 most common side effect.

If it becomes such and issue that it prevents you from taking your medicine. . .ask for a product call Xopenex. Probably more expensive little to no shaking. Your body MAY adapt and the side effect may diminish, or not.

Good luck,
Brent

yes, its a common and normal side effect. as above, xopenex would be your best bet, or just using it and seeing if you get used to it.

I had to use one once I felt shaky...but my family has been using them for more than 20 years and never had the problem.

Also the quality of inhalers have gone down since they made the aerosol version illegal and just have the funny new type.

Yes. Normal, at first. Kinda like the buzz you get from your first few cigarettes. The new-ness will wear off.

Part of it's from the drug itself, but it's also clearing your airways so you actually get more oxygen into your bloodstream. You'll feel more stimulated. Weird, huh? ;)

I stopped needing a rescue inhaler after my doctor prescribed Advair. I take it once every 12 hours and haven't used a rescue inhaler since I started. Probably about 8 months ago. You may want to ask your doctor if that's an option since it sounds more like it's being used as a preventative measure.
