Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I absolutely love the feeling I get driving this car. So different to anything else I've owned or driven. Cars down here are RHD, so owning a LHD car is a rarity.

The kit I got is this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-77-GM-...ash=item51e0bb9146:g:3PAAAOSwG-1Wz1jO&vxp=mtr

Was randomly searching ebay & it caught my eye as I was looking for an original belt to replace the one that's broken of mine. The ad says the kit comes as a set but I'l just replace the one that's broken (read: missing altogether lol) & keep the other as a spare for if/when the other original one decides to pack up. You can order directly from their website as well

Welcome to site. Your car looks really nice.

Is that the one that had been sitting in a lockup for while? looks good.

I'd totally recommend these guys as a great local supplier if you're after any aftermarket parts http://www.musclecarparts.co.nz/ prices are generally only a little more than what you'd pay in the US (i.e. couldn't import them yourself for that) and John's always good to deal with.

Thanks man. Yea I think I've looked at all the '74 project threads on here so I've probably read through it, but can you let me know which one you mean?

I agree, there aren't many through the 60 or so pages I been through already on this site haha. I prefer looking at those thread for relevance, but find awesome reading in all of them TBH. I'd love to read your thread but I can't seem to access it - maybe because it's quite large? but it's be cool if I could read through it. I've had this problem with a couple of the larger project threads unfortunately.

Perhaps the most famous project thread on the site ;)

Cool, thanks for the link mate.. I'll take a look at their site for sure.
Not sure if it's the same one, this car was an Auckland car for a number of years (Hibiscus Rodders) before relocating down to Christchurch a year and a half ago. Now it's a north Waikato car
