Doesn't look to hard did you run into any issues that I need to be aware of?
The only issue I ran into was finding out that the previous owner completely hacked up the wiring behind my dash. I ended up replacing the entire wiring harness with a new one from American Autowire. Since I was replacing all the wiring anyway, the gauges weren't too bad.

Well I already did the same thing. All new wires.

oil sending unit

Having issues getting the oil sensor screwed into the block. seems the intake is to close. I will go out at lunch tomorrow and see if I can find a adapter to extend this sensor up and over the manifold. Also how do I wire up the red and orange wire in that weather proof flat plug ??

I had to use an angled adapter on mine to get the sender to clear. So it's doable.

cut wire harness to factory gauges

This was hard to do but it had to be done so I could move forward.

oil sensor

I think I have the issues resolved with the oil sensor. There are two problems. First the sensor was to fat, the intake manifold is too close to the hole where the sensor screws in, second as per the instructions it says to keep sensor away from the distributor because it will cause interference and not work properly. Which I thought was weird since the oil sensor from the factory is right next to the distributor. But I was guessing if you could get it screwed in next to the block it would be ok. So I got a 2 inch nipple and a 90 degree elbow and screwed the sensor into the end. The nipple lifts over the intake and the 90 turns it away from the distributor, facing the fire wall. That should solve all the issues.
