anyway, sounds pretty good, but truthfully, the vocals are too clean for me, I like cookie monster when he sings.

My theory

I actually listened to the whole song, the chorus, that was cookie monster...

Confused Angst, not the most original theme, but better than "I Wanna Die, Arrgg, Arrgg, Arrgg". 2 points
No talent showing solos, or interesting riffs of any of the three distinct instruments, other than the siren sounds at the begining. .5 point
Vocals, well at least this guy used his natural voice for a bit, but gave way to the C/M, probably in hopes the song will fit in some kind of genre that won't make everybody say WTF? 2 points

As for "my theories on music", I'm just very opinionated. My parent used to glue the knobs on the radios when I was a kid so I couldn't change it from the country station. I loathe country music. I lived in the country music capital of Canada, and never learned to two step, or heard the "Achy Breaky Heart Song". To me 99% of country...in light of todays definitions, I'll call them artists, are shmucks that couldn't make it in R&R, or found it so easy to succede in that genre that competing in a tougher arena was pointless. So they sing out their noses, put on a belt buckle and whine for all their worth. When a well marketed entertainer steps in to the scene, they quickly rise to the top of the popularity list and easilly overtake their peers in revenue.

The C/M trip...I do try to listen to the songs when they get linked/posted, but it usually takes very little to ascertain the lack of tallent, and I do apolojize, but there is so much real talent out there that I couldn't be botherd with the Strep Throat Sound, or the I'm Confused and Should be Shot themes.
Pardon me, I can't sound like that, or play any musical instrument for that matter, despite a family where everyone can and does jam occaisionally and some teach other members of this very board music (guitar I believe) lessons. So mabey that sound does quallify as talented, but that would be like me claiming to be a talented car builder.

I try not to diss anyone elses taste in music or give my opinion unless its asked for, but I can't help but think, no wonder you're depressed, If I listend to that I'd be depressed too!

Its not just the vocal sounds that make it lousy music, George Thoroghgood has the same sound, and often sings the blues oriented themes, but there is originality there. A story, interesting solos, and his songs don't sound like carbon copies of every single other 'artist' in that particular genre.

Not that he's my favorite artist, but has far more talent than what I've heard so far.
It is just music, and this is just my personal perspective. I don't mean to influence anyone or tell them that they're tastes are wrong or bad. My tastes are different, and you are welcome to make fun of them all you want to!
