How does Dale's Diner on Carson and Lakeview in Long Beach Long Beach sound?

Probably close to the Coast Highway? We need a good cruise route for after lunch.

Every time I eat at this place I think it may be a good spot. Its called Just Hot Dogs. It a little stand in a parking lot off of Beach Blvd right between a Pep Boys and a Sketchers shoe store. There always seems to be quite a bit of parking in the back. There is never too many of us and I would think getting say 20 cars in there would be easy.
Here's a map:

Here's their Yelp page:

If the Camaro is running (thats a big IF looking back on the last few months) I do not fear a drive.

My personal Picks would be the Summit Inn in oak hills http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summit_Inn

or Roy's Cafe http://www.amboyroute66.com/frontpage.html for thoughs of ya who are willing to make a drive. Im sure Dave would be happy about this one, well as good as it gets besides Blythe

Roy's cafe is a very nifty spot, its off of Route 66 still in California. I know the owner of the whole town (Albert Okura, who owns Juan Pollo) and He'd greatly appreciate visitors. haha. (If you've been to Amboy, you kn ow what I mean).
