Took off my dual 2 inch pipes and cheap turbos and...............

2.5 with H pipe, flowmasters(yes flowmasters) 40 series, and dump at rear.
all 409 quality pipe, custom bent, beautiful!!!! 300 bucks (i had mufflers already) bad ass job

car sounds great, runs great, dont notice any loss of low end. i actually think it unleashed some mid and top end. i know no one believes or thinks camel humps can flow, but apparently they like it. HOW DO I POST SOUND CLIPS?

also...do you need to retime or readjust carb when going to more exhaust?
it seems like i have to give it gas to start now, when used to just pump once and bam. it idles fine, notice cam more now, and runs great. just curious if because there is more flow/less backpressure etc. if settings need to be gone through again.

and the H pipe is a good decision right? supposedly it balances some and gives good throttle response?

I think there's way too much cachet in the 'mandrel bent' exhaust system. We get well over 400 rwhp from a 331" SBC with a regular store-bent 2-1/2" over the axle exhaust.

do you have a digital camera....if so,when you get done taking the video, you just gotta host it somewhere...i like zippyvideos.com,but theres a ton of them out there...then you can just post the link here

as far as camel humps not flowing, member Mwilson is in the 11's on a set of gasket matched camel humps......they were a pretty stout head 30 years ago, just a lot newer and better technology today, but they are still a decent head nonetheless;)

i dont care if its "mandrel" bent or pre bent. i care about cost and results. and for what i paid to have a custom exhaust and materials and beautiful work, that beats any "kit" that i may not get in perfect, then still pay someone to finish. not just the look of this work they did, because no one sees it, but the quality, the position of hangers, bends, putting the h pipe at best spot, but still not in the way of tranny work, i paid for craftsmenship, not the word "mandrel". and these guys will service their work for a lifetime.
