Yes, the nozzle itself. A 25 nozzle sounds a bit small, I'd try a 31 and see if that cures it. If not, move up to a 33 and so on...

The powervalve is most likely a 65. I wouldn't open it up and mess with it. Try the discharge nozzle first.

will do thanks, i was thinking about the cam for the acc arm as well maybe a steeper profile but with a shorter stroke on the total so i dont run too rich? thanks for your advice i think im gona take a vaccume reading this weekend and see where i am power valve wise, holley claims that any vaccume under 12 u take that number and divide by two to get the advised power valve

and by the way tater for some weird reason my float levels would not work with the darn brass floats, just fyi, not trying to prove you wrong, it surprised the heck out of me, changed to plastic and i was a-ok

Pump cam may also do the trick. I'd only go one direction at a time or you may never find it.
PV math above is correct. Divide vacuum reading by 2 an get the closest number just below that. i.e. 14" vacuum/2= 7 PV choice = 6.5.

progress! so this weekend slash recently ive made some good steps of progress on the car, she runs drives starts and moves at will now, i managed to rip apart my possi and take out all the guts, turns out i have 3.07's (very cool in my book) the possi clutches were decently worn but not horrible seems like the passenger side has at least an 8th of an inch play still though (even after i put the whole thing back together) but its only the passenger side, the driver seems fine and yet when i looked at the clutch packs and c-clips they all look fina and worn the same, my possi still works mint no issues there biut im still getting that 1/8 inch in and out play on the passenger side any ideas? im thinking i might have some serious wear on one of the shims/ carrier itself,

anyways other than the rear end i dropped my tank again this weekend due to incorrect reading to my gauge and a leak in the tank draw straw itself, i cut the section of return line that was leaking out and replaced it with rubber line and then cut off the stock fuel level sender and welded the one that stewart warner provided, there was some serious creativity going on there

managed to mount my wyotech revlimiter and auto meter shiftlight at the bottom of the dash and tidy up some wiring

got my 5 dollar autozone choke cable hooked up and it dosent seem to do much other than kill the car, i need to have the choke out for just a second to create a rich condition then once it fires push the choke all the way in, otherwise it will kill the car, is that common for a car with a big cam?

what's left to be done before the car goes on the rode (within a week :bowtie: )

-windsheild- im getting my car inspected by a friend so i dont really need to get it fixed, im debating if i should because im mega tight on cash any opinions either way? its only a little crack that ive had for upward of 3 months and has not grown

-bumper- still havent drilled the bottom 4 holes for my bumper

-tidy up more wiring

-make a horn

-attack the car with a da sander (got a crew of buddies allready lined up!)

hopefully the car will be on the road by the end of the week and i plan to drive it every day for the summer cant wait to streach the old girls legs!!

ill post some pics tomorro sorry for the novel!
