looking good, but DUUUDe i loved the old school cragers

I didnt mind the rims but didnt like the fat tyres both the look of them and they rubbed as when i got it the rear was jacked with air shocks so it was cheaper to sell them and get the new rims and tyres than to change the original tyres. And i prefer the new school look:cool:
Like with all cars etc everone has there own tastes etc.

When the motor came out found some rust under the radiator which was on both sides, so ended up taking the front off to get at it easier and started grinding, making templates etc so off to a sheet metal shop to get some nice bits folded up so it fits nice.
Also got the new rpm manifold and 750 holley.
Have been assembling the motor at a mates shop and the bottom is together and just finished port matching the heads to the new manifold and flows so the engine will be together in a week or 2 and the trans is being stripped in the next few days for a check over.

Man I hate rust repairs and considering what most of you guys have im lucky! but the welding spark burns and stressing tha garage is going to burn down sucks.
Getting there with the front repairs got some more welding on the big panel and the front part is done.

The transmission is half done a mate is doing it as he knows how and said it was a little tired so putting a full kit through it and the motor is coming along the heads are on and setting up the rockers now so not far off.

Making some progress in the last mont thr ust repairs are done and engine together just waiting to save some money for electric fuel pump, rocker covers and all the small things like thermostat plugs oil air filter etc
Transmission is overhauled and shift kitted and motor and trans bolted in today had to change the nose of the starter for bigger flex plate.
Plan to get the new flows bolted up tomorrow and start putting the front end back on:)
