Looks like quite a rare find, Keith!!! I will be watching to see how this plays out! Good Luck!
This may sound absolutely crazy but I may have found the 4th Baldwin Motion Camaro from 1971. The cars sheet metal is incredibly clean the paint and striping made sense, the wheels and the traction bars make sense. the trim tag however has no trim stamped on it. the rear is date coded correctly but its a 12 bolt with gm 3:73 gears (posi)???? with the original Z28 rear sway bar. No freakin paper work... Mice chewed up everything they could while sitting in a barn for 20 or so years. the car was built in May 1970 and was a 4-speed car. the only other things odd are a small "4" stamped on the on the lower left of the original trim tag as well as a two pieces of emblems found in the bowels of the left rear quarter. one is half of a red "454" emblem the other is faded badly but is rectangular??? any help would be greatly appropriated.
View attachment 34397 Thank you!!! My guys have a lot more pics than me. I have to get them from them. I refused to believe I had something special because it just didn't seem possible, still doesn't and I still don't want to believe it honestly! I have to give credit to my tech Nick because he wouldn't give up, he pestered the crap out of me to look into it. The only really good shot I have is this when we (he) first started taking it down. I was originally gonna back half the car cuz I thought it was a piece of crap... the paint was so bad I thought it was a bondo rust bucket underneath... I had no idea. Ps. I put the SS wheels on it cuz the Baldwin wheels were beat! Actually I gave them away because I didn't think they were worth anything! I can get them back but they are still beat!
Pps, haters bring it on! Prove me wrong please!!!!
