Some how while the trans was out the kickdown where it bolts up to the broke inside and it's flush with the trans. I got the o ring off but now the rest of the plastic is still inside, is their anyway I can get that out or would I be able to make a plate and bolt it down where the bolts holds down the kickdown cable. Anyone have a solution or have a idea. Thanks

IIRC, you can remove the pan and access the bottom side of the detent (kick-down) mechanism. You should be able to just push it out from the bottom side. Is the transmission in or out of the car? I would think needle nose pliers would pull it out from the top if you have room.

You don't HAVE to run it.....but I love having mine operating correctly. I've driven manual tranny vehicles nearly all my life. It's nice having something that is fully automatic. All you gotta do when you wanna pass someone is step on the gas and the trans does all the shifting.
