Prochargers ??? WTF ???

yep i researched them 2 years ago and procharger is the best,,,but still to pricey for me,,infact i went to there web site last night and orderd this years catlog just to see if they came down any,,,,your looking at around 2800 /3500$$ for a 2nd gen set up and thats not with an inter cooler....so you can use nos for 500/600$$ basic kit for now,,,

Very interesting! Would have like to have heard him talk a bit about what compression to start out with.

that REALLY depends on application. most folks I talk with say that for a "true" pump gas motor 8.25 - 8.5 is a good place to be. if its one of those "110 Octain pump gas" motors, 9 or so might be OK, depending on motor, coatings & IC. if its alchy............. 11.0:1 :)

I think you are going to find it hard to get much out of Steve. he makes his living making motors & giving away his secrets is not something he does. being a sportsman, I dont understand why he would not want to share this kind of info, one racer to another. But, looking @ it from a business perspective, it does not make any sense @ all to give away the secretes that make him money. some of those secrets will get out eventually, but if he is good, he will have found new ones by then.

Im pretty sure I heard him say 1015 Horsepower off of 92 octane fuel. WOW!!!!
