That looks great, seeing your progress is giving me incentive to get back to working on mine!

It's tough with so much else going on in life. Was hoping to get this thing done fairly quickly but it's already been a couple years. Hoping to get it done before I retire which is in 19 months. I want to drive it across the country and see old friends and people I've met on car forums, pretty much be a car bum for awhile..

Major stuff yet to be done is mini tubbing it, finishing the complete 4th gen interior, Vintage Air and painting the engine compartment. I pick up my new Forgeline/BFG Rival set up the end of the month and Im ordering a narrowed 9" in early December. Wish I could retire today!

That is true, I've been working on this car for close to three years, and before that I had another 71 Camaro that sat in my garage for close to eight years while I collected parts for it. It's really been the last couple of years I've made progress on it. I do have most of the major components, the engine, transmission, I just need to get the body fixed and then start putting things together!

I'm thinking about those brakes as well. Do you recall if they will fit a 17" wheel?

I doubt it; they barely fit on my 18's. If you go on Kore3's site they have a fitment template you can print off to check on your rims.

Also; the dust cover for the hubs sticks out further than other aftermarket spindled units; so you have to get an taller cap from Forgeline.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I won't be ordering my wheels for awhile, from Rushforth so I can't personally check the template but maybe I can contact Rushforth and see if they can do the check on a comparable set of wheels.

Yep; you can send them the template; its a PDF file, and you can get it on their site.
