Removed original 10 bolt

Got the 10 bolt out today. I'm going to post it for sale in the swap meet section.

Going to start removing the inner fenders so I can lower the car and get a good measurement for the wheel mount to wheel mount distance. Then I can order the 9" and get going on the DSE mini tub kit.

My 9" is at DSE's recommended 56.250". When you measure don't forget to consider the thickness of the brake rotor flange. What are you going to do about SFCs? Looks like the ones you have are going to be problematic with the DSE narrowing kit as you cut into that area of the frame.

Yeah I noticed that when I took out the rear; I have PTFB SFC's. I may be able to cut them shorter and fabricate/weld a piece on the end. You have the quadralink, correct?
I've got to find out what I can use for a rear swaybar with the mini tub kit.

I do have the quadra link. The install is nearly the same as you need to do to move the springs in board. I have DSEs sway bar that's for the quadra link but I bet it will work on your set up. The mounts are on the rearend like stock and the forward brackets weld into the frame. I'll get some pics

Man this is a beautiful build.
My car is not on this level but when i got into mine i finished up after seven years. I also went LS. Man did it feel good to take it for a ride after hibernation for seven years. And i havent even been able to tune it yet but it still felt great.
Keep up the good work and updates. Ill be watching. Cant believe i have missed this build this long.:whine:

Cool! I'm going to contact DSE today to see what rear stabilizers are available for the mini tub kit.
