I ordered the drag race kit, rcgmp-35 with the SBC springs. Even though i have a BBC the total front end weight fit the spring rate my front end weight is 1734 LBS. the springs are rated for 1700-1860
QA1 offers many more coilovers and products than you will find at the typical after market retailer, Summit, Jegs etc. The key is finding the correct product for your application. Generalizations of an entire product line based on a single application (or misapplication) can be misleading.
QA1 has at least 6 catalogs. You can download them at www.QA1.net
Good luck.

I have these on my car and have been using them for about 6 weeks. First off I'd like to mention that they GREATLY limit suspension travel if installed as per instructions. If you shim the bottom mounting point up an inch it pretty much takes care of the problem however, and that's what I did.
I have installed these on my camaro. only drove the car about a mile.. i installed the bbc setup like everybody recommends. i agree with the suspension limit travel. on mine it seems as though no matter how much i try to adjust the ride height i only have about an inch gap between tire and fender lip just wondering if i have to install shock entenders
The small block setup comes with 350 lb springs and the big block with 450. The 450 gives a pretty decent performance feel versus the close to stock 350 lb springs, re: less roll.
Thanks Rick. So basically, the general concensus is that 350 lb. spring rate springs are a little spongey for performance(not drag racing) applications in 2nd gens?
