I really think you need to save up more and buy a good seat. Those procars work well it you are tiny. if you have any weight on you they suck. THe Price doesn't include brackets either the upolstery on them SUCKS... If you need a better seat I would look for second hand factory seats.. Like 4th gen camaro seats. VW GTI or other seats like that maybe even SRT-4 neon seats..

I have those procar seats in my camaro, they work decent for the money, but if you are taller than 5' 9" don't even think about it! I am considering just getting my stock seats recovered and putting them back in.

you could add Charger Road & Track/Daytona (not just regular RT), or SRT8 seats.

Just a thought on oem seats...I just drove an '05 Toyota Solara SE with sport pkg, 1100 miles from NY to Florida. The seats (sport cloth, manual) were so comfortable, I did it in 18 hrs... only stopping for gas.

looking at the size of the seat itself...looks like it may fit. Can post pics tomorrow if anyone is interested

What do you think?

Spend just $200 on a mail order seat that you've never sat in, is like paying $50
for a brand new Lay-Z-boy chair. You get exactly what you pay for. You're going
to probably be disappointed in the comfort level regardless of what store front
you buy it from. Cardboard wrapped metal frames is typically what they feel like.
Don't buy anything that you can't plant your rear end in and check the bolstering
to see if it's comfortable.

I almost blew $1000 on Corbeau racing seats but got lucky and found a local
tuner store that sold them and I got to sit in them. Materials were cheap, and
I realized racing seats are too hard. Went with 4th gen seats.

I personally think investing in 2nd gen seats is a waste, because of their limited
movement, and non-existent bolstering.......going around corners fast you will understand.
Buy OEM seats off Ebay or www.car-part.com from wrecked OEM's and you get far
better options.

Aces is right... buying a seat that you haven't actually sat in can be a huge waste of time and money. My personal experience was that the OEM seats are not really very comfortable (even with new springs) and provide little adjustment capabilities.

Most of those "race seats" are very uncomfortable due to the way they are designed and their minimal amount of padding. However, you have to remember that most race seats (true race seats, anyway) aren't designed for comfort nor prolonged periods of sitting.

What is your overall budget... for the seats and for getting them recovered? You may need to work backwards from there. 3rd Gen (or 4th) seats will fit in 2nd Gen cars and can give you a somewhat stock look without breaking the bank. I personally think the 5th gen seats are VERY comfortable.
