Did not know a repop of that lower piece was available. It looks correct . My car frt side spoiler sections are unpainted , and the center lip on the valance is painted black to match the plastic sides. Those lower valance panels took a beating back in the day. I'm real careful about curbs and such....LOL
Yep they are pretty close once you cut off all the crap left on them from the mold. Like I said lots of work you even have to cut out all rectangular openings. I have a boat load of hours and haven't even started the install, I still have 8 mounting holes to drill lol. The good new is they are available and yes stay clear of the curbs lol.

the new front spoiler re-pops are good. I have a set of those and an NOS set i just aquired.

Funny, I just poset this in the BS section yesterday. A high school ride. White 77 Z28 with 78 blue stripes, which are had to see here.

I was pleasantly surprised the repop spoilers fit perfect, I paid $170 for the pair. I came across a NOS pair for $300 but went for the repops and will use the money saved for a lower grill. I like the pic of that 77 the blue stripes would be a good look. I forgot to paint the black around my turn signals that will have to wait for a lazy weekend day lol.

Do you still have the pair of brackets that support the the plastic side spoiler pieces? Often they are missing on Big bumper cars .

I believe that those braces were on 74 Z28 and other 74 Camaro's that ordered them only my 74 Z had them. My 77 Z does not and the ones I've seen at car shows and our car club Camaro's don't have them. My assembly manual doesn't show them. But I can't say for a sure that they were carried on through 77 if you know they were I'll accept that.

Ok Pilot I just put my lower valance on and I believe you are right about the braces. I noticed there are two holes one on each side of the bottom of the core support that line up with the side spoilers. The best I remember they were a triangle shape and if so I see how I can make a pair.

Hi,
I was only asking if the 77Z still came with pair of spoiler braces like my 74. I was curious only from looking at your pic.....sorta caused me think about them.

If they are not in the assembly manual , then I would guess they are not used. I think mine are in a Z Bar shape . Could be the hole pattern , or number of holes could be different when you drill out the repop panel to fix a whole range of years.
I'm not familiar the triangle braces. Could be correct.

Maybe somebody over in 77Z only section would know more.

Got my lower valance and spoilers put on, this is a fiberglass repop. The only real issue was the center top mounting tab was a 1/2 inch lower than the bolt hole, and I could get it to pull up enough. The bolt right under it went in like it should I'll just have to make a small bracket.

Bought some factory style body side molding and installed it last night. Very easy to work with only took an hour to do both sides, got it from PWD $148 to my door. I'm pleased with the outcome and product.

Those look nice . I resisted that , but put the little stainless door edge guards . Little something for when I get out of the car in its narrow garage.
