If it's not then I say I haveto agree with it.
The brand name on the carb means nothing.
If the carb is flowing enough air to support your engines needs and if the carb is dailed in to your engine then you won't see much gain at all with diff brands.
I done testing myself, and theres been a few mags, and other shops to do the tests. Take a couple of holleys, a q-jet, an eddy, a barry grant, etc.. Tune them to the engine and you might see 5 HP diff in the carbs at most.
It all comes down to the right CFM carb, with the right tune (pump shot, jets, metering rods, power valve, step up spring, float setting, etc) for your engine
