ok so i know one needs a box to operate
which would give me a better spark the one that doesn't need the box or the one that needs it?
and can you still use the box on the 8360?(the one that doesn't need it)
i am going to be buying it soon and cant decide
because if the box goes out on the 8361 then it wont work
but the other one will if the box does go out

If you hook up the box in either kit, and the box stops working the distributor will stop working. The system that uses the box pretty much is the same as the box without but has different connectors, and more features. It is easier to tune with the box.

It's pretty much the same dizzy. The only diff is one has an ign. amp (like a module) and the other dont.

When useing the ready to run dizzy with a box, you must unhook the "module" and re wire the connetors inside dizzy

I just upgraded my ign system
I'm running the 8361 box only MSD dizzy
Mallory hyfire VI 685
Mallory E core 30440 coil
MSD 8.5mm plug wires and coil wire (same kinda wires I ran for the past 10 years)
