If an auto trans is equipped with a stall convertor (not sure what stall it is)...Do you still fill the trans till it reads full on dipstick? I never had anything like this before and my kids trans leaks after it sets (unrun) in the garage. We replaced the shift-shaft seal and the pan gasket. Does not seem to be front pump or tailshaft leaking. Are the stall conv. smaller and take less fluid?

Thanks

Yea, most stall converters are smaller and will hold less fluid. You still need to keep the trans fluid level at full at idle when warmed up on the dipstick. You might want to check the dipstick tube seal as well. It's usually a good idea to put a bigger aftermarket trans cooler in with a stall because they build more heat when slipping.

some will leak out at kick down inlet cable location
Yep. Simple as someone over-tightening the bolt. The plastic housing is pretty fragile and will crack if tightened anything past snug. It'll leak the most when the car has been sitting and all the fluid has drained back to the pan.
