In Daytona Beach I see Teslas all the time. While not as common as a Ford, I still see at least one a day on the road. They seem like nice enough cars in person.

I think the appearance of the mid-range caught everyone by surprise.
Still have to love the American spirit , he is producing cars , and if Ford, had all of the detractors he had, when he first started building cars, with the premise, that everyone should be able to afford a car, I wonder where we would have been , if he said, screw it, Musk is a character , no doubt , however, I still like his can do attitude , the type that helped build America, with out all the nasty bits from the likes of Carnegie, Edison , maybe he should change his name to Nikola Tesla, as he got no respect either .
Just my .02
Ford did not invent the assembly line. The first auto plant with an assembly line was Olds and other industries had been using assembly lines for years.
After Henry Ford visited the Olds plant his factory just happened to burn down and when he rebuilt he installed his first assembly line.
