Began to do the right lower corner of the firewall as this was also full of holes:

And then: no more welding gas and no electrode wire. I ran out of them at the same time. Lucky me....

I discovered a little hole on one of the corners of where the VIN code tag is mounted. After removing the tag it was all rusted under it...

Working my way up to the corner of the cowl. This corner is almost as shot as the other side.

Had to repair the inner structure as well. Did it with more and thicker metal and coverde it with Brunox epoxy.

Made a template for the upper structure:
