Bugatti Veyron Speed Test: 254 mph

16 cylinders, 4 turbos, 1001 HP and no waiting.

Bugatti says it goes 253 mph, the driver in the vid gets it up to 254 mph (407 k/ph). This thing is insane.

I wonder if Aces could catch the guy on his Hyabusa.

You know last year at the Historics @ Laguna Seca,I'm driving to the track...behind this thing!I'm like WTF? Turns out they were introducing it to the North American market that day...man,you should have seen the crowd around it...musta been 10 deep.

It sure is a nasty car. When you have to insert a key into a special lock on the door for high-speed driving -- which causes the diffuser (spoiler) in the back to retract and the car to lower itself a few inches -- you know its gotta be bad to the bone.

Fat chance of that. Busa's are fast, don't get me wrong...but some moddin would have to be done for one to touch 253 mph ( I think they're limited stock at 186, and I dunno if Aces has any mods). I will say in Aces' avatar, he looks like one crazy mofo
BTW - for those that don't know, sport bikes speedo's are notoriously off (by as much as 15%...norm is somewhere around 12%. When I had my 01 R6, I was at 131 in the 1/4 (by my speedo) but time slip said 120. That's what "we" mean when "we" say we've had our bike to an "indicated" (by the speedo) XXX mph.
