Well finally payed off my trans and now to the convertor. He says that my hughes stall convertor has some endplay and i should have it cut open cleaned and inspected. $150. But if it's shot internally then it's gonna cost even more. What should i do.

1. buy a new convertor

2. have mine gone through and hope it doesn't alot of stuff

3. run it since it worked when it was on my 350 and that trans didn't gernade or anything just decided to upgrade. But it did have some miles on it.

I agree with the above. What series Hughe's converter are you running? If you're talking about a 'street' application....for $150, you could buy a new one from Jeg's or Summit (house brands).....unless you need something for bracket racing, nitrous, or forced induction.
