Search my user name and napa. I hVe posted pics with part numbers of ones that work. Getting ready to head to work so I can't look right now but napa stocks clips that will work. I bought clips from yearone or npd and they would not work right.

I saw that, but you have 3 part numbers listed....one of them by the picture is the one I have and doesn’t work. Which one works?

Ok sorry then let me look when I get home and see which bag I have. Hopefully I can locate it again. I did have to use the remover tool to pull back each clip to get them to engage and latch.

I have not yet been able to locate the bag of clips I used. I'll keep looking though.

I may have pics of them but they are on another hard disk and I need to find that too. One thing I wish I had done was to make a spreadsheet to use as a table of contents and notes. So I started one and have been going through my build thread from the beginning and putting post number in column A then a description of what was done in column B. I'm going to add more tabs to do the same for stuff I want to be able to go back to quickly and I can add hyperlinks. Same for parts and pic locations.

Yup, I have all of my build on a spread sheet, part no, description etc and photos before and after.
I just installed new clips with the original rear window molding a few weeks ago with no issue. I used National Parts Depot part number C-10096-4AK $14.99. NPD says they can be used front or rear. My receipt shows part number G-6542. Google shows it mfgd by AMK Products. They are $14.00 there but you need to buy at least $30 for them to take the order. FWIW, if you aren't familiar with AMK, they have many, many original hardware pieces that are otherwise hard to find. they come in both specific kits as well as bulk. Some you can even find by part number out of the assembly manual so you know you are getting the correct fit and finish with markings, color, etc. At least that is my experience and I have ordered a number of times from them.
