Does any member know who makes correct Pressure hoses for 1970 Camaro Z-28 and SS 396 cars. I bought Rich's last PS hose bracket, but if the pressure hose is not made to the correct length then you cannot put it into the bracket. My 1970 SS 396 Camaro right now has a Z-28 reproduction pressure hose which is too long (it touches the BB fan shroud). I wonder what the members with SS 396 Camaro's use.

AIM lists the 396 hose as pn 3973078.

For the small blocks, it is 3973077

Starting in the 1990's when I had my 1970 SS 396 L-78 I searched for BB PS hose #3973078 with no luck. I just bought one from Ground up in Connecticut, I would have to bend it a little to fit. I figure that should not hurt the hose at all. The one on my 1970 SS 396 L-34 is for small block chevy and it slightly touches the BB fan shroud. Dave besides giving me the part number, could you let me know how it fits. Or if possibly a picture.

John, don't know if this is any help, but I believe this is a NAPA hose #, and yes I do not have the correct clamp.
