Isn't that the motor they put in a stang in Fast& Furious 3? It looked easy in the movie ;) I actually read about the build somewhere, they said it was extremely difficult. As long as we're talking about ridiculous engine swaps, I recently read about an old RWD Corolla or something with an SRT-4 Neon motor. It was cool!

No, it F&F Tokyo Drift they put an RB26DETT (Nissan Skyline motor) into the mustang. The 2JZ and RB26 are two of the most notorious japanese motors. Both are twin turbo I6.

2JZ-GE- non turbo Supra/ IS300 motor
2JZ-GTE - single turbo Supra motor
2GZ-GTTE - twin turbo Supra motor

the blocks, pistons, heads and cams are different across all 3 variants.

I had an IS300 5speed auto. It was a quick car.

What is your point of doing this besides the its different factor? I mean early 2nd gens came with I6 250's so its not like your really doing anything different.

If your wanting something more efficient than a V8 consider using a turbo V6 from a new Regal or something like that. They make great power are quiet and quite efficient. That 2JZ really isn't that efficient. My IS got like 24 MPG on the highway where as my LS6 00' T/A got 30 MPG on the highway (it only got 9 mpg around town though :/ it wasn't stock).

I have no problem sticking swap motors in stuff. Id like the have a Gen II Viper LS swap. At least then the viper wouldn't sound like ass, it would be lighter, better balanced and still make the same power. If not more.

You will never get around it still sounding gay.
It's like seeing a body builder and he sounds like this.
Funny scene from "Grown Ups" with Adam Sandler.

EVS did a 1967 Camaro with a 2JZ with 1000 hp.
Muscle cars need the V8 chugga chugga power note, not a 6 cylinder.

Well if I really wanted to do it it would just be because it would be unique. Am I thinking this is going to happen? Probably not. An LS swap would be much easier on the wallet and there is plenty of support since it has been done plenty of times. I do still think that it would be interesting though.

Personally I like it. I believe the GTTE motors had forged cranks, rods and pistons. You get a high flowing DOHC head, intake and twin turbos. The engine is tough as nails and routinely makes 600hp on stock bottom ends. They came with the 6 speeds as well. I have seen the front clips on ebay for like $6K which includes the engine, trans, intercooler, computer and clutch hydraulics. I don't think getting this into the subframe of a 2nd get would be either very hard or expensive outside of the initial buy in.
