Great job Aaron, you should feel real good about it. Yes the painter sees every bad spot. My wife tells me to this day my car looks great, but then I say did you see all the bad sots? Shes says RELAX.............she looks good LOL

If you go nuts trying to get out dust specs and sand through the clear or get it so thin you have no room left to polish it again in the future you will be really bummed!

You have a black car! It will show every spec of dirt... As soon as it moves one foot dust will kick up, land on the hood and it will show...no one, maybe not even you will be able to see the embedded dust vs. the regular dust! It will be dirty in seconds flat!!!!!

Let it be, you can always sand more later, putting paint back is way more work which you already know!

I always liked the stock Rally wheel with bright bands on a Black big bumper Camaro . I used to see one like this back in the 70's . I believe it was a black 77 with Type LT trim with red interior. :)

Thanks man, I agree with you and others now that I've had a chance to think about it a bit more. The risk/reward proposition is NOT in my favor if I tackle every tiny spec of dust in the clear. I am glad I posted that to get others' perspective after I chatted with 1981g.
