looking great. Im just starting rebuilding my rear panel, so ur pics helped me out big time. thanx..

Thanks, after I finish w/the frame rail, the rear panel is my next project. It should be alot easier than the frame since I wont have to stand on my head:confused: to weld it.

Well today I got the front inner portion of the frame done. All I need to do now is finish making the outer portion to over lap it and I will be done w/the frame and hopefully done laying on my back and welding!!!!:p

Its not pretty, but it is structurally sound now. Once I grind the welds and cover it w/undercoating, it will look good.

Removing gas tank

Kev,
I am restoring my '80 camaro and posted a question about the gas that is still in the tank. I was told to remove the tank and get all the old gas and any particals that might have gathered into the tank all cleaned out. I have never removed a tank and would love to have some simple steps in removing it. Any help would be great. Tanks............

Its easy unbolt the straps disconnect the lines done.
You can take the tank to a radiator shop they can boil the tank clean.
