I was amazed to see 1000 posts, until I saw yours. I have been here for exactly 6 years, and you have almost 3 times as many in 1 1/2 years!

Aaron,

Looking really good. BTW you will need to bolt the leaf to the shackle in the hole above, in fact when you install the rear end, drop the shackles to get it in place on jack stands, then raise the leafs, then attach the U bolts and such.

Thanks Keith. Yep, the bottom set of holes raises the rear of the car a little bit, so def want to use the upper set of holes. My main mission was to get the leafs installed and make sure they bolted in correctly, which they did. So will be easy to unbolt the rear when it's time to install the rear end. Good tip on installing the rear end.

Cars coming along real nice Aaron, you will have her on her feet agian in no time. It looks like you have a little flash rust on your shell, Pick up a bottle of othspho from your local body supply. Just spray it on wipe it down and your rust will be gone.

Thanks fellas - it felt good to get her off the rotisserie. Now it's time for the next stage.

Rob - yep, there is some flash rust on there. I was trying to avoid putting any chemicals on the metal (in general) before I eventually spray the epoxy primer. What does othspho do?
